BARK Institute is a training facility that emphasizes a calm learning environment for all dogs in our care. Being stress-free is our number one priority. Our elevated experience of stress-free boarding requires any new dog to go through a pre-boarding program. This boarding program is a Monday-Friday "trial" of boarding with us and includes minor training in basic boarding skills: leash manners, place, calmness in and out of a kennel and more. This program is designed to ensure none of the dogs in our care are disrupted by unruly and chaotic/nervous energy dogs. Upon completion of this program dogs are welcome to board with us at any point in their life.

Your dog is coming to stay - now what?
B.A.R.K. Institute requires all dogs to be up to date on the following vaccines: Da2PP, Bordetella and Rabies. We strongly recommend Influenza (bivalent). Medical vaccine exemptions are permitted with veterinarian note.
All dogs must have a negative fecal (Ova & Parasites + Giardia) within 2 weeks of boarding
All dogs must be current on a flea/tick and heartworm prevention
Ensure your dog has enough food for their duration of stay- bagged in individual meals
They are welcome to bring a favorite toy/bed
Please have ready their proof of vaccines/fecal
Ensure your contract is signed (email prior or through our BARKU app!)
Ensure all medications (oral and/or injectable) with instructions are packed - if injectable medications please ensure all supplies are provided
